its all down to how you start them ,you start to lift them over fences and they will get to expect it every time ,i personaly never will lift a dog ,even from day 1 ,i will show it a way through at the begining ,then after a while i just leave them and sit out of site untill they get over or under ,,all my dogs end up being over in front and waiting by the time they are 5or 6 months old .i think the biggest problem is people dont like to see there dog get caught on wire so they just keep lifting them to save any cuts and rips Edited by UNFIT

but what good is a dog you pay big money for come to scotland with it and just wont jump you think if top lines big money they would atleast jump or they got the easy life as puppy there and 1 less thing to worrie about just get it running and nothing else i mean if you get a good race gets to fence and just stops no good to [NO TEXT TALK] then you going back the way learning a adult dog to jump think all coursing dogs from pup should have in there training comes with learning dnt you think :)

Well its a bit racist to say the least that english dogs dont jump and a bit silly realy! Your the silly one buying a dog and not trial'n it mad! If its that bad bond with the dog and when you go out and come to a fence walk away if the dog comes or not keep walking, eventually it willo find its own way,i taught my bitch to jum at like 4-5 months
