Hi all heres a post from todays 3 sessions.

Before work this morning i decided to pop into the new permission and see if there were any flying rats roosting under the barn rafters.

Luckily for me there was and it wasnt long before the R10 dropped 5 of them before their alarm clock had time to go off and wake them up for a free feed of the farmers wheat :D

At dinner time i drove up to the old permission and decided to have an hour of squizzer ambushing. It wasnt long either before the squizzers came out to feed on the fallen tree nuts. I shot 3 but only could get to 2 as 1 was in the middle of some thick brambles

The 3 were taken at between 19 metres and 30 metres all with head shots.

I got all the action on my video camera and have now added them to my DVD. It looks SWEET AS :whistling:

After dinner i got a call from the game keeper telling me that i had a squizzer in my live catch trap that needed dispatching so i drove up to my traps and gave it a lead dinner :boogie: but not before making him a star in my DVD ;)

On the way back down to my office i saw 2 jackdaws just chilling out on top of the aircraft hanger. I slowly got the R10 out of its slip and ranged found them using my Guntuff LRF. 34 metres.

1 mil dot hold over and down went number 1 with a peach of a head shot. The other one jumped up and then started going crazy screaming at its dead pal. Thats when the second jack made a big mistake and landed on the same hanger again but just abit higher than the first time. 1 mil dot hold over and down went number 2 with another head shot.

Not bad really for a quick hour or two in total just driving around and ambush sniping.

Hi Zini.

Excellent shooting again buddy.

You certainly have gelled with your R10.

Its nice when you find a rifle that you realy appreciate and have confidence in.

There can not be a better feeling, and the satisfaction is bliss.

How long have you had the R10 mate?

Hi Bill,

Ive had it about 4 weeks - ish i think mate.

I cant say enough good things about this make of rifle mate. Its just a whisper quiet killing machine if you fit a SAK silencer on the end.

It didnt take me long to get used to it as its such a accurate rifle and the trajectory wasnt that much different from my custom Stealth mate.

Ive been shooting a lot of years now Bill, on and off due to where ive worked and my job etc, and consider myself a not bad shot, well a little better than average anyway with a air rifle.

Gary you have more chance of platting fog than getting me to sell my R10 to anyone mate ;) .

Regarding my work. I hate the job now and cant wait to retire. Only 3.5 years left and then my sentence is finished :)
