ellir0305 9
Just a thought how many of us wash the ferts after theyve been in burrows where theres mixy before moving to another area could we as ferreters be spreading the disease ourselves by the ferts carrying the fleas ? every time i take mine out and get them home i wash them with detol on a towel mate just damp they smell nice after and it helps with ticks and that and the carry box is jays every time. not saying this works but my ferrets have not had ticks on them now for 3 years what, so a solution of dettol and water on a towel and wipe em down? it can't be harmful if you havent had any problems so to me the sounds a good idea. atb rob Quote Link to post
The one 8,585
I wouldn't fancy putting dettol on them what if the other ferrets in the hutch licks it ?? Quote Link to post
stealthy1 3,964
The frontline spray I use to protect my ferrets from parasites kills the mixy fleas too Quote Link to post
