Jesus i have to pay rent , tax , food bill, dogs food bill, insurance and scrimp and save so i can afford a rifle and pellets , i minimum of 5 days a week usually 6! 10 hrs a day and this scrounging little git is basically begging and can afford his own kit anyway and he's complaining when others do the same ...... From what i have read jackward, i think you come from a good back ground where mummy and daddy can pay for your things , now i know young uns that are from quite shitty backgrounds that work fecking hard to get what they want , they struggle and wont ask for hand outs , yet here you are asking or shall i say scrounging but then your on here moaning when other youngsters are doing exactly the same thing as you have done ??? Whats the problem with that ??? Dont you like the fact they might get somthing that you dont ? you cant slag off someone for doing something that you are quite happy to do ....

Hi everyoneMy name is Jack Ward, i am 15 years old and recently posted my first post 'asking' for any unwanted items from any generous people who wish to help me out. I received a lot of comments and feedback, and have now hopefully, thanks to the great generosity of Chay, which i am very grateful for, acquired some new equipment.However, after logging on to THL tonight, i have found a series of new posts from people suddenly wanting new equipment, and looking closely i have also found that nearly every word i used in my post has been used. I find it appauling that these people, having reviewed my post have jumped on the bandwagon for 'free items' and new 'kit' having seemingly had to lend equipment of their friend etc etc, this is discgusting, how do you think i now look. These people are most likely grown men, who have the cheek to give themselves kids name etc and make themselves look like young starters, or their dads are making them put posts like this on for free stuff. Yes, Chay was very kind and thoughtful to give me some of his items, which i am very grateful for, he is obviously a great man of trust, and i respect him for this, and this is how it should be, i am 15 years old, starting ferreting, and i have now received new kit which will enable me to do so.

 

You may say 'how do we know' and 'he's probably lying', and this is not how it should be, people should be able to place their trust in others, and all this rubbish of having 'no kit' and 'having to lend' has came straight from my post. I know some people may say im just jealous, how could i be jealous, i now have enough kit thanks to chay and stop talking a load of nonsense. I also know how when the first post popped up, 'Starter Ferreter' asking for kit, Leeview uncovered all of the nonsense and found that he actually had a load of kit, even selling some a short while back, discgusting.

 

 

Thanks for reading and the moderators need to look out for stuff like this, it gives us 'real' young starters a better chance and better start.

you know jack for a young fifteen year old you can certainly compose a good scrounging thread , your grammer is very good , spelling is excelent

and for someone who has been given the "gifts" of speech and composure i find it incredible that you are just 15 and that you dont have a family to help you without having to put on good intentioned people of this forum .

being from such a good background makes me wonder why you have to resort to asking people on this forum anything ,

jack ward some people on here genuinly have no money so for them you have now made it harder when i was 14 i had to work give my mum my money to help with my brothers and sisters i didnt have any money but it made me wiser let this make you wiser i believe your 15 i also believe your probily a typical know it all 15 year old but that stuff could go to some body who genuinely needs it

 

mate dont bother argueing with people on here im sure most of them sit in front of the computer all day in white fronts waiting for dull money and only see hunting on western films take it from me you see the same know it alls starting arguments over and over

 

just think what you done and one day do the same for someone else or save up buy your kit then give the other stuff you had away to some one

Pardone? Jelouse of someone who can afford things but chooses to scroung it? I'm sorry mate, but you're rediculous. There's young lads out there that can't afford any gear what so ever, but you obviously can. I'm not jelous at all, but this gear should have went to someone who needed it.
