The Midland - disappointing ????

Am I the only one who was disappointed with this years Midland Game Fair ? Nothing in particular just the whole thing. seemed to be more tat, less guns and associated stuff..... and i thought the £17 was a bit fruity too

i was very disapointed the £17 was bad but not as bad as £11 for 2 cornish pasties and 2 teas . There didn't seam to be as much there . As for the fight it seams that was on top of a lot more things going on there , that may be the last one i go to

Yes it was stupidly over priced, and I'd say that certainly the dog attendance was down for sure, but, it's only about an hour from me, it's a good opportunity to meet lads without me having a stall and the stress that goes with it so I can stand around and have a gossip for a change.

 

It was nowhere near as good as the EDRD show, or as well attended by working dog lads as the Welsh Gamefair, but it was a bloody good excuse for me not to have to go to B+Q and pretend to be interested in pot plants!!!

 

For that reason alone it was worth the £50 the day cost me.

 

You pays your money and you takes your chance .............

 

 

Just one thing though, I wish they'd ban those f*****g extending leads, normally with a fluffy pet dog at the end, what a pain in the arse they are!

i know , they werent very descrete about trying to nap dogs either .

but other then that i did enjoy the gundog final , my uncle got thou 2 the second round

and saw some amazing afghan hounds

my greyhound got a rosset for 3rd prettyist bitch :]

You right TOMO, i did take mine+ r.n w. took is dog. And show that size it is a feckin pain, all Bryn wanted to do was cock his feckin leg every min up the stalls, or any fecker who was standing there and r.n.w got it once . Maybe a small show , but not the midland with my dog again .
