But that's neither here nor there ... ‘It should be used where there is violence, yobbish behaviour or gratuitous personal abuse. It should never be used where there has been a personal conversation or debate with views firmly expressed. ‘If someone is in a discussion and they don’t like what they are hearing, they can walk away.’ If the discussion was going pear shaped it should've just stopped with either party refusing to carry it on. Imagine being arrested for having a debate Ridiculous. I'm a Christain. I defend myself if someone makes comments until such time as I see that there's really no getting through. Then I just let it go. After all, as far as I'm concerned God knows what's in folks hearts and will see to them when they get to His door - if they don't want to listen to me they'll listen to Him and know the truth when the time comes. I'm not Muslim or Christian, but if they laid into the Muslim they should have a right to defend themselves. If the Muslim laid into them, then they should have a right to defend themselves. But, if it's just one persons word against another, would the Police arrest the Christian couple? Because they were more concerned about offending the Muslim lady? - personally i don't think so. I can believe the Christian couple got a bit more aggressive than the Muslim lady. Why? Because they were in their home, there was two of them - all that confidence. The Muslim lady was on her own, in unfamiliar surroundings etc she would more than likely be the more timid. Ok, the Muslim lady could of been a some kind of preacher, on a mission type, there is a chance, but it is more likely not to be the case. But, that's just my opinion. Really, we don't know.
