DOG INSURANCE?

Recommended Posts

I do for two of mine.

I have the lurcher insured in case she chases something onto a road, and the terrier will bugger off for 20 minutes or so to see who's about & it worries me he might cause an accident if he got out. That costs about £6.50 an £5.50 a month respectively, from More Than. They wanted about £20 a month for the GSD, I guess that's cos of the hip thing with them. They cover me for vets bills (over the excess) recovery if they get lost or half inched, and most importantly, third party. :victory:

check the small print deos it cover working dogs as most dont (check out basc and the nfu) alot of the big names do not cover working dogs as i phoned round alot and found this out dont just assume they do cause you could be in for a shock if the damage is caused through working, pets usually no probs tell them its a working terrier or lurcher and they say no way. your terrier could be in every month gettin stitched ( a possibilty) my mates spaniel cost him a tenner every month i want to insure mine but with 7 its gona cost alot at those prices.
