I dare not think what its going to be like another one or two generation down the road if it goes on in this direction. Its bloody mad. I am shocked.

Its a sad thing when people no longer trust each other and make assumptions and think the worst when someone is trying to help them or their family, but it seems to be the way off the word now. Can it get worse than that?

i wouldnt take it to heart mate and i wouldnt be so quick to slate his mother,if we didnt live in such a fecked up society she wouldnt need to think that way,the worlds full of pervos sickos weirdos whatever you wanna call em,ok she may have overeacted, but do you know their circumstances, somebody may have tried to snatch her child once, you dont know,i think you should try to contact the lad and tell him to show this thread to his mother once shes read it im sure everything will be fine ;)

this is a subject close to my heart as i always believe us older hunters have a big part to play in the future of our sports and the future is the youngsters. iv taken many out in the past but always after talking to the parents or the parents tagging along with us but attitudes are changing and young lads like this are suffering because of this. his mum is just being a mum and perhaps buster should of requested a chat with her before he offered to take the lad out. also the lad should of consulted his mother about this because at the end of the day hes a minor. whats done is done though. Its a shame how it all turned out, we need more people like buster in our sport but i cant help feeling sorry for the lad. I hope nobody is put of helping out youngsters because of this, you wont have a problem if you do it the right way and talk to the parents before you promise anything.
