aye a normal silver and as he gets older he will moult out to nearly a bew as they often get lighter as they get older

realy,thanks guys, i was wondering if hed change or not, the other silvers ive seen are not quite like him, i didnt relise there were so many shades! :thumbs:

Ive a jill kit a bit darker than yours and the tip off

her tail is snow white

she is out of an albino jill to a dark

coated poley.

 

wont be mateing her as you carnt be shure

that the hob might not haves a silver gene in it's line.

will be haveing her spayed in the near future.

 

do like the colour though.

its a plain old silver, some are more marked than others,

thanks stubby, do you think he will go more silver as he gets older?

 

 

only time will tell, as stated by others,

Ive had a few like that, one hob has kept the colouring and gone more poley, others have moulted out to nearly look like black eyed whites

nice kits. when I bred mine most of em look like black eyed whites but few weeks later the silver came through :(

I had a kit born here like that , it went polecat coloured at about 4 months old , but it was very silver as a kit i have some pics somewhere i will try to find them

Thanks Kay, the ferret is roughly 4 monthes old now,the friends who bred it said they were dark born turning to bew (or so they thought) and these markings have only just come out the past few weeks! lol
