Problemchild 0
Hi, long time lurker first time poster. After reading all the excellent advice on here and arming myself with some trapworks snares I've been having some good results. I was wondering though if you all have some tips for carrying snares to stop them getting in a tangle? P. Quote Link to post
glass22 0
Hi. Put rope through the loops of the snares, one piece through all your snares. Seems to stop them getting tangled or the wires getting ruined. Quote Link to post
Phil Lloyd 10,739
Well done Trapworks... Its good to hear a happy customer give some respect to a reliable supplier It is best when carrying a bundle of rabbit wires,..to pop the peg through the wire and let it hang down, Carry your snares in this manner will prevent them from tangling.. When being hung or stored in the shed I favour tying them in bundles of 25... All the best,.and good snaring... Kind regards,.CHALKWARREN... Quote Link to post
JackWard 0
Its good to hear a happy customer give some respect to a reliable supplier I bought some snares off Solway Feeders, absoloutelly s**te, they came all kinked, tangled and they were tiny, the loops far too small. Only thing was, i didnt really know about snaring then (I'm 15 and no expert) and carried on using them, now in a non-returnable state. Only until i came on this site i learned and hopefully will purchase some of the snares on Trapworks which look brilliant and obviously have had a lot of care taken into making them. salukiwhippet 6
Yep, peg through noose and hung from the noose. My rangie's got little hooks on the grab handles in the back, I suspect they're for hanging suits on, but they take about 25 snares each too! Get some funny looks at roundabouts though....
