Guest JOEB Posted August 10, 2006 Report Share Posted August 10, 2006 The reason that the so called war on terror will be a big feck up is that politicians are running the war, which is always a bad thing (i.e. Vietnam ect) Soldiers need clear objectives to be effective, not pissing about with Human rights lawyers looking over there shoulder. The politicians should hand over to the military, let them identify what the objectives and targets are, then let them get on and kill everything and everybody that could pose a risk. cindy 0 Posted August 10, 2006 Report Share Posted August 10, 2006 I could not believe today’s news, I was on route to the airport when I heard it, taking relatives who have been over for 5wks ,to get they’re flight back home to the states. As they are only in they’re teens, travelling alone I thought it best to tell them as little as possible. The airport was wall to wall, sniffer dogs and the lot, I asked US airways if we could change the flights, but we couldn’t. We had to leave them at 10am when they went through passport control, they were delayed until 3.20pm, they have missed the connection at Philadelphia, but we are assured by the airline they’ll be on the next connection once they have landed. I have been tracking the flight on the net since it set off; the poor beggars still have 3hrs before they land at phili, then the 2hr connecting flight. Don’t get me wrong I don’t care how long the delay is as long as they’re safe, but they’re only kids who just want to get home. IT’S ALL SO WRONG . Quote Link to post Share on other sites
