Locater collar wear

Recommended Posts

Give the collar a scrub earlier, and noticed the 'o' ring had gone. The casing is the second one from B&F, the first was a different harder plastic/resin and as a lot of people might have experienced is too brittle round where you screw it up. This newer softer model dont have that problem. Have kept an eye on this as at the end of the day the dog is relying on you getting down to him (if no bolt etc).

Still the original collar though. I do like this material its strong stuff and standing upto to testing conditions ive complete confidence in it (touch wood). Washes up almost brand new, dont absorb liquid. Couple of bite marks/abrasions, not an issue.

Would be good to see the newer collar, anyone had their mitts on one yet?

i heared they were going to test the new collar to a thousnd digs or something before they were going to release it ,any one know how many there up to as it could take quite a while

The collar was with a friend of mine all last season. You can rest assured that it has been dug to more times than most of the collars will ever see in their life times :D .
