RossM 8,149
my bitch does it, she knows they're there, she can see them, runs up and stands over them even.........wont pick them up unless they make a run for it, does my tits in but just got to live with it, Quote Link to post
nighteyes 275
had a bitch used to do that on her first season i think its the chase they want but when they get to know there job they will pick up the sitters Quote Link to post
blackpack 70
if she is catching and retrieving mate i wouldn't tease her. Some dogs go for sitters some dont not much any one can do. Quote Link to post
bucky 11
had a collie cross that would do the same thing on the lamp, would creep up and i mean creep, till its nose was touching its arse and stay there till the rabbit gave a twitch then it would pick it up, if the rabbit never moved, i would have to walk over and put my foot to it just to get a chase. fecking annoying but worth her weight in gold otherwise Quote Link to post

There is nothing worse than a dog nipping at dead rabbits. if a rabbit is sat by right by the hedge in a place we go my bitch wont chase because she has learnt she will never catch it. other places she runs her ass off Quote Link to post
