piemanpete 0
Hi Folks. I'd like to find an affordable scope for my .22 RF LR, say *around* £100, that would pull in as much light as possible at dawn and dusk and still give a good performance during the day. An illuminated reticle seems to be a good idea. Anything else? Largest possible objective lens - around 50mm - seems to bring in maximum light - coated optics etc. All suggestions gratefully received. Thanks. mattydski 560
Just changed my Nikko gold 3-9 x50 for a Hawke Nighteye SR6 3-12 x 50. AO IR Not the best optics in the the world, but acceptable, and the reticle is good and can be calibrated for the .22lr See pic below I WOULD recommend it, but dont expect miracles from the optics. I bought this scope to make long range shots more accurate........and it is just doing that!! Quote Link to post
