A bloke i no has got an alsation greyhound x bull whippet greyhound pup he thinks its gonna be a good dog, Im not so sure.

 

Any thoughts on this????

It could be ok, just with [some] GSD they can have alot health probs[HD..........] . you might not get any, as its been bred down with other breeds. I read that police go out of the UK for GSD's now, as they not what they want in this country. So if you use a GSD, make sure its from good [lines].

thats not entirely true , as recently cleveland police force had a advert it the local yellow paper , asking for any working dogs btween 4 - 12 months of age which showed i think the words used were ( excessive energy ) to be trained as police/sniffer dogs , dogs including on the advert were . GSD/LABS/COCKERS/SPRINGERS .

Some one I new had a shepherd cross, said it was to big for rabbits, but good for other things, dont know what he meant by that

mate off mine has one alasxgreyhound over greyxbull he had it out last year and it done a charlie but its was still young . But he has high hopes for it this season

there is no reason that this dog wont be ok to work , i wouldnt worry about it just bring it on as any other lurcher. it might suprise you

i had one, unfortuneatley it was past its best when i got it but not only did he make a good lamp dog but he could guard well too... i'd like another some day!!! heart of wales bred a litter of 1st crosses and pictures can be seen if you click the search option above
