Bosun11 537
nice idea but what happens when we are some where we shouldnt be ,& get lit up by another beam. Well mk3, thats easy, you use your loaf and buy two collars from SS, one without a reflective strip and pref in a very dark colour....'Like black'..... Then, you think about where your gonna be lamping that night and if the gaffs a bit 'warm' put the none reflective one on...(your dog, that is!!!!!!!!!) Seriously, if you are on a spot of easy ground, without the fear of looking over your shoulder, these reflective strips make interesting viewing for the lamper

dogs-n-natives 1,182
I use a similar thing on my lurchers up here when lamping on the open hill especially in rough grass or heather, as when the course gets distant the quarry and dog can become invisible, ive deffo caught more vermin when using the reflective collar, as you can keep the beam in front of the dog easily even at a long range. When the one ive got brakes, which it will, as its nothing like as good quality as SS's ones il be getting one of these for sure.
