Hannah4181 260
My lurcher is called Spider but is regualry called "Spy" for short . . . .. this is the calmest most thoughtful dog i have ever met, he has a weird aura about him and always wherever you turn he's watching, and as the last picture demonstrates actually spying! J Darcy 5,871
I like the top piccy best. Hannah, i dont know if you have photoshjop, but in it is a Blur tool. If you get chance to use that on the backgrounds it would look even better, i.e less distractions for the eye. Black and white is such a great medium to work in....colour often distracts the eye from the real subject.....great pics...keep em coming!!

I spend most my life in CS3 editing pictures . . . . . . . . that said although i love the shop i do try and achieve as much of the focal effect i want with the camera. The color pic was taken at the same time as the first 1, just a tighter crop and total focus on the eyes. I liked the 1st pic as i think you need the "slump" of his body in focus to emphasis the relaxed state he was in at the time . . . .. . but your right the blur tool can be very effective. I would pay any money to know what he's thinking!
