mjr88 50
Hi all I was just just wondering if any of you guys use the ' Shooters Aid Ear Defenders ' the ones with the baffle system and cost about £11. The reason i'm asking is because i've just bought my first pair and i am not too sure how far into my ear i'm supposed to insert them . If i push and twist them in too firmly they seem to be a little uncomfortable and rub down in my ear canel and half of my normal hearing is immediately lost. Or am i supposed to only half insert them , in which case there is no mild pain in my ear canel and most normal sounds can still be heard clearly. I Hope that this doesn't seem like a daft question but , having never used these before i just want to know how to get the best results from this product John Edited July 19, 2009 by mjr88 Quote Link to post
ellir0305 9
i am only guessing here but the one without pain is probably the right one they might allow normal frequency sounds but disrupt loader sounds i dont know. fit them the comfortable way and fire a few shot and see Quote Link to post

RicW 67
Sounds about right i use the sonic ones so i can hear folk talking but they cut off the noise of the gun must be much the same I used to use industrial ones that worked like that. Low level sounds came through, high level shut the baffles. Ric Quote Link to post
3jackwhite3 2
i think they are rubbish as they hurt when wearing them and they always come out(im pusing them in as far as they go) and when i put them half in i can hear everything clear but my ears still ring like i havnt been wearing any. get some caldwell electronic ones for about £30-£35 there awsome.
