hughesey1552 0
Recently when i ve been out shooting if i keep my eye on target through the scope I can sometimes see the pellet as it flies. Is this normal or do you think I could be getting some low velicity shots due to it not being regulated. Its a mk 3 AAS200 iof that helps anyone. Hughesey Quote Link to post
Freddy Watts 1
Sounds pretty normal to me. ATB Freddy Quote Link to post
smokin 0
Sounds pretty normal to me. ATB Freddy seconded - it happens with some scope rifle combinations - i find it quite useful!! - if the velocity was changing the point of impact would vary quite a bit too atb chris Quote Link to post
ghillies 209
in .22 its a forgone conclusion that you can... a nick name statement is comonly 'you can trace your pellets on target so its easier to gues'.. even .177's can be seen after a few yards more than a .22. lamping is quite often the first time it's notised... NV gogles too... theres a speed that human eyes start to lose sight of a moving object.. diferent animals see at different rates. rats being the twats that love to jump the pellet...rabbits at 40+ with a heavey .177 do also..squirels too... i've even watched birds duck as the pellet flies over... hughesey1552 0
haha ive always wondered why rats have the ability to hop over pellets. Those rabbits cant see a 17hmr coming at 3000ft per second though lol. Cheers ghillies Quote Link to post
ghillies 209
lol sonics do tend arive fairly quickly lolol... rats also do this stamp on wet soil thing and bowl over screeming, it leaves you wandering why these pellets 'aint working.. truth is they dodged it... sounds like a wacking body shot. np... edit....use a lighter pellet if they get that cocky. then watch as they get the impact early lol.....suprise!!!!! ghillies 209
you'd see the pellet splat in the day.. maybe why.. Quote Link to post
stealthy1 3,964
I like to watch the pellet hit the quarry, better when the sun catches them. Quote Link to post
