I'm using a Fujifilm S5800. Took these on super macro setting which is only good if I can manually approach what I'm trying to photograph. Any suggestions for getting a clearer focus would be greatly appreciated, especially for close-up of moving targets (not that the snails and slugs were moving that fast, mind you ). Using regular macro from a bit of a distance and then zooming in is proving difficult as the AF thing keeps going off and the pic is either blurry or too far from away. If that makes sense.

Why do they have a bloody big hole in the side of them?

More playing about yesterday. It's amazing the things you notice when you're looking for something to photograph on macro setting :D

Honeysuckle growing profusely at the side of my house

Finally worked out that the macro works better with a solid background so grabbed a chocolate buttons bag to get this shot

I love my bees - the garden is litterally humming with them. In fact I was just out there and it's all you can hear ... buzzing :D If you stalk them long enough you can catch them but I must've discarded about 50 pics to every decent one
