arcticgun 4,548
I.ve seen your post about your import on another site, its a real beauty, Im sure she will do you proud, the one you are importing later in the year is one of the best I have seen color wise a real stunner, very striking. Have the lines you are importing been used for coursing in the country of origin? the more new blood into saluki lines in the uk, the better IMHO. Good luck with your new hounds, atvb Richard Quote Link to post

Good luck with your new hounds, atvb Richard Yes over on Saluki Preservation Yes definately coursing lines, and am very hopeful of the second pup - Malak - her temperament is coming on just fine. Yes unusual markings, and although there are plently of salukis for sale in the UK at the moment, I felt the import route would be worthwhile in the long run. Although I was initially worried that the bond you develop with a saluki is so very important, it has all turned out fine and she is my second shaddow.... Callie Quote Link to post

Could it not manage both? atvb Richard it would have no bother richard its good stuff mate I reckon your right mate, its a real stunner, I personaly have no interest in showing dogs, but see no reason why the average coursing saluki couldn't make it in a show ring. atvb Richard Quote Link to post

Calli 93
Put it this way - the hares better start training round here... My original pair are partial to venison so the priority is a working home. As for show ring - they certainly could........ But would I have to buy polyester trousers and start to prance around a ring with them??? :icon_eek: Quote Link to post
