dark snipe 0
hello a cousin of mine has recently bought a terrier pup from a lad in darlington it is black and tan, the dog is surposed to be nuttal breeding his grandsire is root and his dam from ireland. Both parents are black, there were 4 pups in the litter and 3 blacks, when i asked about the coulours the lad said he showed them to c nuttal and he said it was a throw back from 30 years ago. the pup is strong and healthy and all the right shape. just would like some info if anyone else has had this happen and how the dog turned out. or if anyone can remember any dogs of that markings from years back [if its true] any info would be great. cheers Quote Link to post
sikastag_1 689
dogs that have had a border through them or lakeland or pat or russel or whatever mate can often throw back a litter or a pup to the likeness of a breed back in a line. Quote Link to post
dev 227
nuttall used border blood in his terriers so it could well be a throw back to that Quote Link to post
