Had similar problems with my dogs when changing the food, Try mixing it with their current food and gradualy increase the proportion of the new food until that is all they are eating so the digestive system gets used to the new food gradualy.

Also you could try them on a few raw bones as well as I find this stiffens up the stools.

The protien level in the food could be to high for the dogs and you might want to consider changing the food for one with a lower protien level.

Hope that helps

All the best donh

Did you try to slowly introduce the new food over a few days ?

I feed meal with dried meat chunks in it, no problems when feeding the hole meal but if i pull the dried bits out as a treat it makes them scour.

Try feeding it dry, but make sure theres plenty of water available.

I used to get the same stuff, and had the same problem even after introducing it slowly, so I used it for bulking up on their grub. I added just a handful of it to redmills and had no problems after that. Try it an see hope this helps.

Dried "meat" seems to contain a lot of conective tissue rather than meat as such which in it's self is not a problem but makes it expensive for what it is. If you are feeding a complete as tha base then you only need to add a small amount to each feed. It's an idea to go round the local butchers for waste meat & bones ( bear in mind there is a risk), etc as they are usually free, won't cause the scouring and will give variety and a protein boost to your everyday feeding. Some butchers are better than others, mine lets me at the bone bin to sort out what i want.
