I know this is not unique but it's the first time I've ever seen anything like it. This was hoping about in the garden this afternoon and I just managed to get this one photo. It's a normal blackbird, not albino, but with mostly white plumage.

When I was a lad some time ago I lived in a place called Newton Aycliffe in the north east, there is a place known localy as the blue bridge, in the 70's there was a totaly white blackbird like yours not an albion, I used to see him all the time at the allotments or along the old line, now a nature walk ( or place to shot up if thats your thing) LOL, but now Im still offten in the area and the odd cock blackie can be seen today and over the years with the odd white feather

Hard to say - although there is some colour on the tail even in this one which is quite similar.

There is definitely some sort of family thread going on as I saw another one yesterday - black with a white head !
