von 0
My mate for curiosity advertised for sale on ebay, one gold and one silver medal roe heads, to his surprise the feedback was mental. Germans now wanting to purchase heads. The main question for me though who would want to buy such a thing? and when asked about them you would have to tell a load of porky's on where you shot them etc, the Germans seem to be mad crazy for this sort of thing. Strong Stuff 2,171
Can I be a retard and ask what the difference between silver and gold is? Quote Link to post
FOXHUNTER 5,021
Basically roe heads are measured by weight and volume and a couple of other factors and scored accordingly. Then if they make above a certain amount of points they are graded as Bronze , Silver or Gold.. Quote Link to post

dicehorn 38
Myself and friend have these three Germans over every year at the beginning of April, they will not come over if there is a full moon and insist that they are the first to stalk with us. I must say though, they do know their bucks and only insist on the very best. Last month I stalked around with the senior of the group, in total we saw 8 bucks - none appealed to him as they had to be silver or better. At the end of their stay (5 days) they had shot 7 bucks only one was silver, and one bronze. The beautiful gold head was (thankfully) smart enough to keep his head down. Yes the continentals are head size mad. I must say that I do not take out clients on the roe as I am strictly into management - my friend makes a living from it although he now scaling back.
