woodga 170
well four of us made the trip up to the borders for our anual rook shoot darren his son micheal and his friend william .on the friday the winds were really strong but we still managed a good number between us approx 200 on the first trip into the wood we then started to arrange the cooking stove which was made out of an old 5 gallon barrel bacon and egg with beans and the breasts of some young rooks never tasted so good here are a few pictures from the hunt this is darren connecting with a good running rabbit lucky shot i think the stove made from an old five gallon tin worked brilliantly the rook wood william shot this lot from one location all flying birds a few from today and the end of a great week end Quote Link to post
