This Saturday 20th July 13 at Barrontop Fun Farm Are hosting a Lurcher,Terrier and Whippet Dog Show and Raceday this Saturday the 20th July 2013 . All the usual classes, lovely Trophys, and Cash Prizes for each of the Overall winners. A donation will be made to the Foyle Hospice from the proceeds of this show. Entry Fee will be £4 and £2 to show or race your dog. Barrontop is one of the finest venues for dog shows in Northern Ireland, and has proved itself to be just this in the past. What can i say.winner today another one of my lines.two years in a row that the winners have came off my lines and to be honest not being big headed but any big event in Ireland you can be sure they will win or be knocking on the door you can't beat breeding its a through saying the apple never fall to far from the tree..scooby dad bred the winner last year and this year its of scooby which was also one of the fastest dogs on Irish soil. Our hospices all over Ireland do great work North and South of Border, So pack up your dogs and family and head for Strabane on Sunday. Tullylish sits on the River Bann, along the main road between the towns of Gilford and Banbridge. Its beautiful countryside and green elevated hills was the perfect setting for the Tullylish Dog Show last Sunday 7th July 13. We were blessed with the weather for a change. The Gods were definately looking down on us. The sun shone brilliantly as the Canine men, women and their little folk arrived in force with their prized Canine crew in tow. From my own observation, over the past couple of years our doggie shows have become real family days out. This was very evident on Sunday by the turnout on

Tullylish Working Terrier Club Sunday 7th July 13 Tullylish Working Terrier Club are pleased to announce they will be running a Dog show on Sunday 7th July. There will be simulated Coursing for Whippets and Lurchers. Showing for Terriers, Lurchers, Whippets and Strong Dogs. After the showing there will be weight pulling for Strong Dogs and Straight Racing for Lurchers, Whippets and Terriers. Congratulations to the Winner of the Master Mc Grath at Shanes Castle yesterday, and also Congratulations to all the rest of the Racing winners. A big thank you to Albertj Tittering and the NILRC for a great days Racing. A job well done. A big thank you also to all the generous people at the show yesterday who give all their loose change to a collection for the Greyhound that was found on the road in Northern Ireland with its ears Cut off. We are delighted to report that Ferret Racing will return to the Fair at Shanes Castle on Sunday 30th June at 11.00am in the Countrysports in Action Arena. This time it will be organised by DAZZAM & VERMINCATCHER. The Countrysports in Action arena is designed to allow members of the public to 'get up close and personal' with our sports people and performers so they can ask questions and have a bit of craic which is not always possible in the main arena.
