  1. I think that's the lad. However, when I last spoke to him he said he was moving to Yorkshire. I've lost his number...
  2. Like Brad said, maybe it was Tonypandy. I remember it was a terraced house on a mountainside, but that doesn't exactly narrow it down...
  3. Now that you have said that, no I'm not sure. I know it was from the Valleys. Do you know him?
  4. South Africa I think. Search on Facebook.
  5. Why? It is perfectly legal in the country it was taken. I would like to hear the story behind it. The dogs looked like Sparks Big Game Hounds... Spot on matie Very nice. I am envious. What capacity were you there in? Did you know Roy before your trip?
  6. I had an excellent dog. I took him all over the UK as well as to the continent. He hunted all manner of quarry and never let me down. Unfortunately he died. So I am looking for another bred the same way. I put mine over my bullxgh another good one and the pups are keen as hell and have good pace what I was looking for I am glad they worked out well for you. That would be too big for me though. I love little dogs. the two I kept are sizes apart one is 22" and the dog 25" 22" would be lovely. Mine was bred by a lad called Curtis from Merthyr Tydfil. I've put a post in the general
  7. I don't know mate. He was advertised on here. I made a phone call and went to pick the dog up at 11pm after work one night. I never actually met the lad... He was on here as 123hunter, but that account is now banned. If anyone has any information please let me know. Cheers.
  8. Nice dogs mate. I particularly like the chocolate one. I prefer a hairy dog though.
  9. It was 4 or 5 large smooth haired hounds around a dead male lion, which looked like it had been shot.

  14. Hi All, 2 years ago in November I bought a bedlington x grew from a lad called Curtis in Merthyr Tydfil. Curtis was out lamping that night so I picked the dog up from his parents. I was told that is was Curtis' own line of dogs, he used to keep on an allotment nearby. The dog was wheaten coloured and about 6 months old, called Kylde. I paid £40 and some pork for him. He hunted rabbit and rat in the UK, as well as trailing deer. On the continent he hunted wild boar and worked with terriers for fox and badger. An honest dog, he never let me down. Unfortunately he died.

  16. Hi All, I'm looking for a bedlington x grew to add to my team. Basically wanting a 19"-22" dog with plenty of early pace and drive. I like that bedlington x hunt up as well. And I love a hairy dog. Don't mind dog or bitch. Would consider anything up to 6 months old. If anyone hears of anything, please let me know here or by PM. Cheers.
  17. Sri Lankan Samba deer are 50% bigger than Scottish Red deer. During the 1900 Samuel Baker routinely took Sri Lankan Samba stags with a pair of English Coursing Greyhounds. He also hunted them with a pack of hounds. It is detailed in his book 'The Hound and Rifle in British Ceylon'. The book can be read for free at the link below. http://www.gutenberg.org/ebooks/3231 It is an excellent read, and makes me think I was born 100 years too late...

  20. According to Irish tourist board, there are no restrictions on moving dogs between mainland and the Republic or the Province. I took a dog from mainland to NI 8 years ago and it was easy enough. Just had to inform the ferry company and put her in a me nel on the car deck.
  21. so am i I'm hoping only one of you has tits mind...
  22. All good sauces of protein. Some other cultures are disgusted by our eating of pigs, dirty scavenging animals that wallow in mud. Yeah but as far as I know, you dont get sick off touching pigs. Them f***ing rats are running round the streets in open sewers an hour before. Straight out of the live catch and into the holding cage, then into the food chain. I dont really dig foreigners or the shite they eat. I`ll stick to my doggy(Not dogging!) holidays in Wales and Cornwall. You crack on with your protein. A person can get very sick from eating pig meat (trichinella for a start). There are
