I fish out of an SJX 21' Jon boat. Powered by a 200 horse optimax sport jet. I like to fish shallow water and prefer jets to props. Needed the ability to haul a lot of weight in the boat with the two 55 gallon bait tank and live well I sometimes have both in the boat at the same time and need the ability to look all over the lakes quickly for feeding birds such as comorants in the winter time. 40 gallon fuel tank, difts in 7 inches of water and runs in 4 inches of water. Handles open rough water good for such a shallow water boat. Gives me the best of both worlds. Winter time I fis

Yes there are a lot of guys using those breeds. The apbt dominate the scene but a good many use American Bulldogs and Dogo's The dogo comes with a lot of trumped up hype and at a huge price tag and don't fill a niche that the pits and AB don't already do. If a dogo was a little faster they would come closer to filling the hype of a do it all type pig dog of a pure breed type dog. As it is though they need to be crossed with either a Dane or stag in order to reach my requirments of an all around dog and get out of the same niche as what the much cheaper and easier starting, faster m

The sire of the pups again. Pic isn't very good cause it was taken from across the pens. I have him in a smaller pen isolated from the other dogs in the much bigger pens because he broke a toe about weeks ago. Has healed pretty nice. Starting to ease him back into some excercise now.

This is their daddy. Decent pic of him holding a nice young bluish colored boar.

Where bouts do you live. I'm from north central Texas area. Kinda due west of Fort Worth by 1.5 hour drive

Thank you all. Now that I can post pics again, I'll keep some coming.

I applaud you for using them. Wish more people used them cause people like me might not want them in their pure form but like them in crossed up dogs. Without people like you still working these fine dogs, people like me wouldn't be able to use them in an outcross. I'd rather hunt behind a pit but I'd rather have ebt blood to add to my dogs. 35 to 40 pound ebt, is that a standard or a mini?

good read that , what about apbt there norm more agile and leggy compared to ebt you ever used them in pure form , but the dane x pit sounds spot on for hog work as you say Yes I've used apbt in there pure form if you can call them that now days cause there is so much breeding bullies to normal pits, some apbt are leggy and some are not so much. Some have good endurance while others suck wind after a few hundred yards. Apbt make outstanding lead in catch dogs and are pretty much the standard of which all others are judged. They mature quickly, rarely do you not

would that be pure English mastiff , or bullmastiff that was used in the line ? No sir. Their grand parents consisted of about 1/3 mastiff which was majority Boerboel but had dane and boxer as part of the mastiff side to give their grandparents aprox 1/3 mastiff blood. They are two out crosses removed from this family line of finder holders of 1/3 wolfhound 1/3 deerhound 1/3 mastiff. First wolfhound then stag. I'll be crossing a couple of these pups to some bull x mastiff blood

This is my other male pup. He is my favorite out of the 3. He is much more down to business and a good hunter.

Bigger male pup at 9 months old. Getting them used to their vests and taking them out on mock hunts at this age. This is the pup that loves to play so much with his sister.

No I don't run them on anything other than pigs for a few reasons. I have in the past while hunting pigs sent 2 dogs to a coyote. Coyotes would be 200 yards away when sending dogs so they would have a pretty good long race. Afterwards the dogs would be pretty gassed and then of course I'd find some pigs soon after. 2nd such runs will cause some swelling in my stags ankle the next day and lasts for a few days. We have cottontail rabbits and Jack rabbits here. The Jacks would be comparable to yalls hares. Same thing with his ankle when sending him to them. 3rd is i will some
