    Here is why you are wrong VM is just one of a long line of posters who often really have nothing to say, but vomit it up anyway. I've made a number of points in a number of threads here and he started emerging as a common theme with that classic forum approach of commenting on what people dont say, rather than what they do. Mediocre to say the least. I'm all for banter, but at times its just boring and at times people are trying to have a sensible conversation so its just derailing.     Firstly, that comment was not directed at you and it was in relation to a point which might have implied I was inexperienced - so your comment is nonsense. Secondly, I did not realise it was a 'competition'. Thirdly, some of you are coming over as being a bit of a clique....shame, as there as some nice and well informed people on here. It seems that all some of you are doing is having a pop at anything I say to anyone. I'm up for it. Bring it on. I've always been very capable in these situations.

    In my case, I have not claimed any great shooting prowess on here. I dont need to for the same reason I dont need to take pictures. Agreed, but i can see that on targets as well. On other forums, I've posted a lot on target shots, measuring drop, and some minor ballistic stuff. I am not arguing against anyone who wants to post pictures. I'm not offended at all by them and its fine. Its just not something I feel uncomfortable doing myself. I agree my friend, excellent point well made.

    If you understand your .22, have done your practice and research on pellets, zerored to the right distance, have worked out your small hold overs and unders from that, then I'd say 15 - 45yds is true for .22 as an 'optimal' range. While the trajectory is certainly more curved for .22, people interpret this as being 'too curved' - not at all. In real terms its often flatter than people think. People confuse a relative difference (.177 is flatter than .22) with an absolute difference, (.177 is completely flat, .22 is completely curved). The latter is not accurate.

    That's unfair and inaccurate. People have mild pops, and I pop back - I'm just better at it and you think I'm the one starting things? - Sorry that's just inaccurate. Anyway, nuff said. Hunting pics? Have you heard of photoshop? hahaha. Proves nothing. I've never understood people who take pictures of dead animals. I've been shooting on and off for 30 years my friend, never done it once. I'm not preaching to others, if you want to do it, then fine, not judging, but not for me and never will be. Each to their own.

    I was giving generic advice, not spouting off my ability. So give me a break.,...... Yes, I can do pellet on pellet when sitting or prone - but my accuracy was not the point. My freezer can atest my accuracy with a single .22 round out to 35yards thank you. But I dont think its good advice telling others to be sooooooo good before they start to enjoy the sport. 20mm groupings are smaller than a 2p peice, and good enough for bunny head shots at those distances.
