Looks in good nick mate. Got any pics of the parents?
-
Here's something along those lines, it's a x whippet Afghan, called a silken wind hound, I've seen them race but never on the back of something running, they looked fast slightly bigger than a whippet in size but would be interesting to see how they would work.
It says rare American breed in wiki but I've seen plenty at a race meet over here so somebody is breeding them here.
What race meets would they be mate...?
-
How olds that photo Joe? Does anybody still keep them...?
-
I know it's not exactly a common thing but can you get rough haired whippets or are they all smooth haired?
-
Cyclo spray from the vets it's the best stuff it's about £6 or £7 a can.

For the past 2or3 seasons I've worn muck boots for lamping, I could do with a more comfy boot that's also waterproof , I like the look of the high boots by lowa , it are they comfy and is there better for that sort of price
If your talking about the lowa hunter gtx evo extreme boots I would highly recommend them they are the dogs bollocks. Very comfy plenty of support yes they are pricey but you have to pay for quality.

Gutted just done local sports field and my young dog just picked up 3 mixy rabbits. I can't believe it hope it doesn't spread to far.
-
What time do you all usually go out at?
-
I can't seem to get my dog to look down the beam when out lamping. You can be stood 3 feet away from the rabbit and you think he's looking at it because he's straining in that direction so I slip and he just legs it off in another direction. Unless there moving he doesn't notice them.
Along with this another thing is he always has his nose to the ground so I have to hold his head up to try and make him look. Surely this isn't normal or is it? He is shaping up to be a handy ferreting dog and along side the terriers so I'm pleased with that. I just Hope his lamping game does as well. Any help is appreciated.

I had a 3/4 Hancock and he was very handy on Hares, not saying he was a world beater but he caught them regularly.
What's catching regular to you?

A mate of mine shoots a air magnum Co2 and he rates it well. He doesn't shoot vermin just targets he's right into it.
