  1. A fellow Freemason? Welcome to the forum.

I'm sorry to hear about your late dog. I can't imagine your pain but we all love our pet animals here, we do sympathise with this story.

Hope the pup comes around soon and hear about your hunts together,

    Enjoy the forum.

  2. Awww that's sweet, friendship presents ;) you're both good lads so I see why he did. I just wish my friends where like that

May I ask, what do you make of the TX200HC compared to the HW98?

I know they're both different rifles but I'm interested in both and you just so happen to have one and tried the other ;)

    Cheers Davy,

  3. Aye, I try my best but I try not to miss and end up spooking any quarry as much as the weather already does.

Swings and round abouts but it what makes hunting all that more challenging.

    When's your next outing?

  4. Found this the other day relations to Weihrauch, hope this answers the question- partially if anything ;)

    hi Daz

    i own the HW 97 & HW 95 & SFS Chieftain

The HW 97 is a under lever & deadly accurate, and probably not for noodle arm owners. & definitely not hold sensitive

The HW 95 is a break barrel, a lot lighter and prone to hold sensitive, but still deadly accurate once mastered

(don't own one but have shot one)

The HW 80 is a break barrel, not as heavy as the 97,but as deadly.& definitely not hold sensitive

(don't own one but have shot one)

The HW 98 is a break barrel, not as heavy as the 97,but personally the most accurate i have shot, apart from the "Chieftain"

the first time i picked the HW 98 up was when Si had one,and i had a go on my 8mm bell target in the garden,i hit it every time,i found it real easy to shoot.the fit was good and it was deadly accurate, and definitely not hod sensitive

if i was to choose out of your choice i would take the HW 98,thee most accurate spring rifle i have shot.

UNTIL i got my hands on the SFS Chieftain,(Awesomely accurate,if that's a word ?)

Some nice shooting despite the win but also a very good write up. I enjoyed it :)

    Here's to the next

cheers mate, the wind made it hard but not impossible. i might have to stop doing my write ups at stupid hours in the morning when i can barely think or type. that was the culmination of 3 hours hunting.

Haha I know, been there myself and it's trying to do the math of wind speed and mil dots... Sometimes trial and error if my head is messed up lol.

Maybe scribble it down at night and review it in the morning? I enjoyed it, as I said but didn't really see anything to fault.

I'd do it myself but people enjoy pictures and I lack the artistic ability to take anything decent ;)

    Keep it coming mate
