The green brigade are a group of hard core Celtic fans basically. They wont be wearing poppies because of what it symbolizes. The majority of the troops sent over to Ireland after the first world war, during the war of independence were animals and did some horrible things to ordinary people, so people generally dont wear one. We have our own remembrance Sunday in July, it commemorates all our war dead, both great wars the war of independence and our civil war. Shame it's not a 2 day event ............

I have heard it said that the biothane, because it is stiff can open easily when the dog has it on, but as with anything, if it closes with a buckle then of course it can open accidentally.

you can put it in your tank alright and use it, i mixed half and half with farm diesel last year. ran for about 2/3 month, then needed serviced, it is all to do with pressure, and basically your boiler soots up. and its not any cheaper, in fact its dearer, unless you can get knock off for cash. I have already told you all what happens when you ACTUALLY try it. It was the boiler servicing man that told me, infact he asked me, and i told him what i had done. He does my boiler service for £40 as a foriegner { unofficial job on the side, devious thieving english twat, but i lik

Thanks mate. I wouldn't be risking damaging the boiler, that would cost a bit more than the difference in price between the red (free) and heating oil for sure! The payment plan looks good, better to have a regular amount coming out than getting the tank filled once or twice a year.

Thank you for the offer, if it's genuine and it sounds it then I'll be in touch in the new year, I've got no chance of getting a weekend off work now until after Christmas. Funny how when something is free there's a long queue! The woodburner only warms one room of my mansion! Yes, I am a soft townie, of that there's no doubt, remember though, I haven't got as many layers this year to keep me warm lol Just to clarify, it's not my Discovery I want to use it in, I'm asking can I use normal vehicle grade derv (red or white) in my central heating tank, will it work the same with no damage? The reason I'm asking ......... is because the minimum delivery size of heating oil I can have is 500 litres @ around £250, have just checked down the back of the sofa (which I also haven't got!) and there ain't £250!
