victory is mine!!! had her out a few times tonight,handled well.only looked like she was gonna nip once and then changed her mind!lol(oh,and the wire is on the hutch she came in,mine are different.)

yeah,i think she'll be ok. just been out to her and she seems calmer already. she didnt bite in aggression,more in suprise that i picked her up!

just been given a little albino jill by a mate of a mate. nice looking tiny little thing but hyperactive!! it came with a hutch,when i opened it,i ended up with a ferret in the face!!it was that quick!lol . cleaned it out and went to pick it up when it promptly bit me!! little it didnt bite hard though,i think it was my fault for startling it as i dont think its been bothered with for a while. left it for the night now with plenty of grub and a clean hutch. will try again tommorow when its hopefully a litte calmer!hope its not a biter as its a bonny little thing and from what ive seen of

im no expert but if its making noise,its probably a hardware (fans or hd) rather than software problem? you tried blowing crap and dust out of the fans etc?or running a disk check?

you have to be prepared to be bitten!no one likes it but if you're frightened of being bit,you'll pull or twitch your hand away from the ferret every time you try and pick it up.got to be confident and have the "i AM picking you up" attitude! otherwise its a vicious circle....

ok,i've got a7 month old bullgreyxsalukigrey and he's coming on well,recall is pretty much 100%,i can tell him to wait(my version of stay!lol)and thats about 90% but his retreive......well,i cant even get started on that cos everytime i throw something for him,he runs away! he's sooooo timid sometimes! i've never hit him or even raised my voice to him!he's boistrous around other dogs when he's playing etc and isnt frightened of coming to me! would love to get it sorted cos its the last part of his training that really matters to me! any ideas?

my thoughts entirely! the lads obviously proud of his dog(who cares whats in its breeding??) this is definateley a case of "if you've nothing good to say,shut the up!! hope the lad has plenty more with her mate.
