Spent a few months in Doncaster in my youth. Lol

tou might get darren Moore back soon

f**k DM, wouldn't have him back for free. Though I don't think he is a bad manager. For those that have spent time watching or listening to him, he has an agenda. BLM.

  2. Wembley Wembley, we're the average Donny Rovers and we're off to Wembley!!!

Another win tonight makes it 10 in a row. 30 points from 30, 41 from last 48 and gone from relegation battle to 5th place and looking likely for play offs.

In the same number of league games Man City have won 40 points from 48, now whilst I'm not at all saying we are Man City or Grant is Pep, just bear in mind when this run started we were looking over our shoulder at relegation!

    Just unbelievable.........

It almost doesn't matter if we don't make it now because this has brought belief back to our club that was on a continued downward spiral.

It's guna be a loooonnnngggg week now until Saturday 3pm.

I've fished with kev quite a bit, cod in the mersey and sharks and conger from Plymouth. I booked on for the skate but had to cancel so never got round to it. His boat is over in Canada now

It was the shark trip we were wanting to get on after the skate but he packed in to go commercial bass fishing from memory. Top lad 👍

Well done mate, is that Kevs boat? Loads of the lads are landing them from the shore  now and it's something I'll definitely be doing over the next few years

Yes mate, Kevs boat. Best skipper I ever went out with. Finally found a good one.....then he jacked to go commercial!

Messaged him a couple month ago actually and he is back doing holidays but elsewhere in the world now, Norway and New Zealand etc.

  6. Just been watching a Dean Macey thing on You tube the Scotland tour.

Pretty good actually. They went after common skate near Oban, similar place to where we went couple year back.

Unreal, for the normal fisherman I would recommend getting up there for a trip. This for me is the UK equivalent of a massive Ebro cat, Canadian Sturgeon or Thailand Aripayma but affordable. Obviously take a risk with weather but it is so sheltered up there in them bays that you should get our.

We went for a few night, couple days fishing, all caught massive fish. My two biggest were 217 and 204.......probably never be beaten.

  7. I had some money on em to get promotion at beginning of season. Then when we were really low Sky Bet went out to 200-1 which I had another tenner on.

At the minute my bets pay out

    650 for top half finish

    Roughly 4k for promotion!

    Come on you reds!!!!

I thought from the performance from hull i thought we where onto a good start then leaghe results jhst didnt happen some games played well but just switched off. It's been a cracking turn around, be nice to keep adeluken and lo tutola for another season.

    7 wins in 7

    C'mon rovers

Need to get Molly contract extended and sign Haks up on a free.

TLT and Craig on loan for full season would be cherry on cake.

If all 4 leave I feel we will be back to square one.

  9. Any fans in here?

Personally a Donny Rovers fan, still an outside chance of making playoffs. In great form. Won last 6 on bounce conceding 1 goal on the run.

Some very interesting fixtures in the next couple weeks which throw the chase wide open. If we win our remaining games I believe we will make it.

Bear in mind at some point after Xmas we were 3rd bottom!

  10. For those that were interested in the hatching egg sales I have now sold 7 sets of 6 eggs with an average sale price of £21. It costs around £7.50 for postage and packaging. So basically average of £13.50 for 6 eggs.

As eating eggs local they would be selling for £1.50

was told that you could feed kitchen scraps to a pig BUT, all the meat has to be for your own personal consumption, can`t even give a pork chop to a guest.

You can't feed them kitchen scraps regardless of who is consuming it pal.

That’s what the link dc posted on Wednesday was saying mate

its a load of shit ain’t it I can’t see how someone that keeps a small flock for eggs is a problem tbh I can understand these large commercial units having to register as there’s ££££ an someone has to foot the bill for losses or subsidys or contracts not met but with the amount of migrant birds carrying it there never control it plus the amount of poultry products imported that have lower standards than the uk it’s all a waste of time  I personally think it’s a form of taxable control coming to the normal man that wants to live a bit of the good life

Totally agree mate. A couple of hens at the allotments is not the problem regards bird flu!!! They just want to make it as hard as possible for the normal bloke.

Similar to not being able to feed pigs kitchen scraps. That was the norm for years, the "cottagers pig" and there were no issues. Because some bell end down south was importing wagon loads of food waste from France and caused foot and mouth they carte blanch apply a new law. Then people with little knowledge jump on the band wagon when you feed them carved pumpkins "if they have been in a kitchen and carved with a knife they are deemed kitchen waste".....f**k off! That isn't guna start foot and mouth!!!

If its for your own consumption best off just cracking on and keeping quiet.

  14. Heads up boys, anyone considering a few hens they are changing the rules. Used to be over 50 but from October now any/all birds kept are to be registered with DEFRA!

They will do anything to make it harder for people to provide for themselves.

  15. At the minute I think you can keep up to 49 birds without registering. My plan is to keep a dozen layers and a couple Cockerells and some growers for the freezer, I'm having to manage it to stay below the 50 No for reg. Bear in mind this is all live birds so I am up to 34 at the minute and nearly half of them are chicks which are the next generation but no use for eggs or meat at the minute. Would def go over 50 to do what I wanna do and this on a really small scale so they already have it controlled IF people register or even know.

The system is set up to stop people producing their own and not needing the system!!!!

I won't be registering unless they come knocking on my door.

I understand and fully support disease control etc but everything is going to far.

We are guna end up like Robin Hood hiding in the woods.
