  2. If my rifle is running at 575 fps, is that 10.5 ft lb with a pellet 14.3 grain? (575 x 575 x 14.3 divided by 450240) If you agree please like this post, thanks
  3. I have only ever used two different silencers, HW100 silencer and Daystate Airstream MK 6, they were both great but can't really compare them because they were on different rifles. The new BSA silencer "Variable choke" i think seems to be very good though, worth a look. Hope that helps

  5. I have a gun with a walnut stock but the other day i was washing it with napier gun oil and a splash went onto the stock and that part of the stock has consequently gone a duller, greyer colour. What can i do to get rid of the mark?

  8. I have recently noticed that you can now buy different colour bottles for charging your pcp rifle. Just wondering why that is, normally they come yellow or white but at BAR(http://www.airgunbuyer.com/Showproducts.aspcat=Charging%20Eqpmt.&SubCat=MDE%20Charging%20Equipment) now they have "New Black" ones?

Hi mate, i haven't read the previous comments apart from Pianomans one which is spot on! but what i was going to say is it also depends on what distances you want to shoot to, if you want to shoot more than 50 yards (Which as a person new to it all i doubt you will) i would go for a .177 as its more forgiving when using holdover and under. Whereas if you just want to shoot between 10-40 yards then a .22 is best in my opinion because there's more knock down power and as your not shooting far the holdover isn't that bad if the gun is sighted as 25 yards. Thanks for all comments, is it definite that it's on Strelok? dont understand mate im not saying buy the hawke scopes im saying put in th info into chairgun and the sr and mildot match up near enough then you just have to find the inbetween oh right, sorry i miss understood what you meant.
