    I have seen rabbit dogs pull up at hedges with my own eyes that would run all day on open land nothing to do with heart you can spoil some dog's if they run to mmany rabbit's and its not no wife's tail..all the land we run is hedges wire gates ect.theres no room if a dog stops at gates hedges its gone...any dog will run on open land why wouldnt it.

    Leitrim is the least populated county in ireland.if your on permission you can more or less do what you want .bring your fishing rod good fishing spots.

    dunno about mice but my coursing pups join in killing rats along with the terriers rats bring them on to had to pen the hens up their trying to kill them aswell lol .

    If a pup is walked round the park on a lead an another pup is hunted and slipped in on handy kills.following older dogs through fences ect.i know what 1 ide rather have.

    I agree with yea 100% about gates ditches ect what im saying is the hares are never given a chance by some people Slipping in pups some of these pups I seen slipped in were older than the dog that was running.This shite about getting their mouth around something in summer is just that shite I.M.H.Oaye yer right there seen some 3 and 4 year old pups myself.lol.

    Imo.pup should be out from about 12 weeks old summer winter whenever doing ditchs gates wire ect .leave them in the house is 1 sure way to rare a jacker.
