  1. I've the le chameau neopreane full zip ones, and I've had them 3 seasons and they'll do me another 1 at least, I do a lot of coursing so do a fair bit of walking and their very comfortable and hard wearing, some may say their a steep price but if you add up the price you pay for wellies in 4 seasons then they will work out cheaper and are well worth the money
  2. What about the bitch he lined? How did pups fair mate?
  3. Had a look on the seeland website and really liked the look of the lingfield and the new eton, anyone had these jackets and how did they fair? I'm after something waterproof, breathable and hard wearing at the same time being light and comfortable enough
  4. Cheers mate, black tan bitch was good around the cover looked like she dosnt lose many to cover
  5. After watching the Chalky and the boys dvd a few times I really like the look of the big mush, just wondering how he and the black and tan rough bitch are bred? Cheers
  6. Had the pup out working on her jumping gates, she had no problem atall with fences but was never to sure about the bigger gates so been putting some time into just jumping gates and she's coming on a treat, couple of pics of her doing 6 and 7 bar gates this morning
  7. A few folk have said GTX stuff rips pretty easy, I'd be looking for something a bit more hard wearing
  8. Just had a look on the seeland website and I like the look of the lingfield and the eton, anyone had these jackets and how good are they?
  9. On the look out for a new jacket for the incomming season, last season I used the old trusty wax barbour but while I kept the rain and wind out it also weighs a ton and kept the sweat in, I'm mainly a day walker but I go out on the odd dig with mates here and there, so I'm needing something waterproof, breathable, good pockets and of reasonbly smart apperance, a shove in the right way would be great cheers
  10. Sorry for the thread hijack, but I've a dh x gh bitch here and she's a real fussy eater aswell, maybe something to do with the deerhound?
  11. Dosnt say mate, it says sire was bred Barney x bean dohertys 'spot' and dam was bred captain x spooner X cruiser x amber
  12. Just read an add in the CMW for saluki x pups, some very good breeding in them, it said the sire was sold to the arabs for £8,500? Was that the lenny dog?
  13. A mate has a wee bitch he keeps purely for lamping, she's been out daytime but just dosnt have the wind or gears for the bigger stuff and she was never broken to ferrets as a youngster so he keeps her just for lamping rabbits and I must admit she's turned out a great wee lamping bitch
  14. After numerous times of my 170 cutting out and me fixing the connections its finally packed in, only bought this lamp new this time last year but I think its the wiring inside the actual lamp that's gone this time, is it fixable or am I just better buying a new lamp?
  15. Hopefully they are a lot more usefull than show racing champs haha a think they are going to make decent enough all rounders
  16. Thought I'd try put some more work into the pups non exsistant retrieving, she has no problem chashing the skin and picking it up but she just wants to play around with it and when I recall her she just drops it and comes in withought the dummy, I've put a good few hours into retrieving but don't seem to be getting to far
  17. Cheers mate, fingers crossed most of them make the grade! How's they pups of yours coming on?
  18. Well roll on the 17th, hopefully its no to big a litter, 8 would be just nice
  19. Bitch has caught, she now has 2 weeks to go so here's a couple of pics from just there, this is my 1st litter so getting excited now!!
  20. She has no problem going out to the fur but she's just picking it up and running around then dropping it when I recall her
  21. I've a litter due in a couple of weeks and I was wondering what's the best bedding for the bitches whelping box? Atm she just has straw in it, but I think this will stick to the pups etc
  22. For her size and breeding mate she's surprisingly nimble and agile and she's not short of a turn of pace good things ahead for her I hope!
