    Hi Dean, I dont know what its worth but i too have a heap of heads to sell all very good taxidermy work, I would like to know what sort of price you get im thinking it may be between £400-600 as i have been watching some pretty poor specimens go for £250-350 on ebay. I have 2 big cudu, 2 big oryx a zebra a roaring red deer a goat 2 tarr 1 shamois and maybe a few forgotten ones. The african specimens need a very big room to fit in. Good luck regards Brad

    Thanks Lads, A little more info on the gos hawk,, Its very good looking mounted on fallow antlers still with its jesses on i believe. I will see if i can get a pic sent of it. We have contacted a dealer but need to be aware of the values ourselves and i dont want my mum to be ripped off. Thanks for the help and comments regards Brad

    Hi my Dad has recently passed away increasing my firearms count from 2 to 19 and my shotgun count from 2 to 50!! Basically i live in shropshire and my Mum dumfrieshire in scotland. We Have several rifles to get our best money for a 22/250 with weaver scope, parker hale .270 ruger 10/22 in mint condition and a 12gauge combination with 9mm undernieth, other rifled antiques In the shotguns there is a Macnaughton of edinburgh with dumaskus barrels and only a 4 digit seriel no.     Just goes to show you can never be too safe with guns. I have seen times where if one more link in the chain had failed someone could be dead. Shoot day and the laird thinks its ok to climb over a wall with a closed loaded shotgun laid ontop as others beside him are too crossing. Out lamping and you have an accidental discharge and so on.. I have seen lots you just need all of them wrong at once and then your on manslaughter charges. I really feel for him. Be safe

    Sounds like you need a few wild boar in the area.. They love all the waste left from butchering deer etc we always leave it at the boar feeding spots and next day it will be severely reduced. The only thing they leave is a few bones.

    Hi , I can confirm there is a healthy population between dumfries,dalbeattie and southerness in south west scotland. I have seen them too close for comfort. Try trapping 5 in a shed!! We fed them down from the woods leaving a trail of bread and grain going into a courtyard and managed to trap them in there. I can tell you now they will run from you in normal situations but they will aggressivly protect themselves or their own kind. I was up there last week and we got camera trap shots of a big one pushing along through 2 foot of snow like it wasnt there.

    Hi i am new to this forum and also new to night vision. Could anyone tell me if "digicam" is a good make of night vision camera. My Dad got this and fitted it to his .270 but has now sadly passed away its a dedicated scope but you can still use it in daytime. I would like to know if its a budget make or top of the range.     Hi i think the best way to start this forum is to introduse myself, I am 36 yrs old currently not very active with shooting and fishing but always have been and hopefully soon will be again.We hopefully have some great fallow stalking in line. The story starts in south west scotland(dumfrieshire). Still at school i had a lot to do with my Dads 400 acre farm releasing between 6-800 pheasants for our shoot each year, i then moved onto gamekeeping on leaving school.
