  3. Cheers lads. Its not my pic., was given to me, the lads that have them dogs, keep them selfs to them selfs and don't like anyone knowing much about them. They breed some good coursing dogs, its an old pic, taken back in the early 90's i think,
  4. Sounds like he is produce a few. Have heard he is sought after in the uk as well. His in my town, i will be using him at some stage.

  6. As a kid, i remember their use to be a good few around anatolia, not sure if their still is, this was back in the 70's. My granfather use to go off on horse back and a couple of tazi salukis and hunt for a few days over mountain and rough scrub ground, he came back with roe, fox rabbit ect to feed the family and share the meat amongst friends. For boar, they would go out with a few of them and a few tazis. those dogs in the pictures will be from around urfa toards the Syrian border mainly fox and hare That's right. Heard of that.

  11. Its been a long time since i was in turkey, but some of it was rough turkish, i understood some of it, what you say is right too. Them tazis, are tough as nails, hunt all day!
  12. Looks very good that M , would like to see the full documentry, how do i get it? They were speaking turkish as well, from what i could understand.. Its very similar to the way i seen it as a kid in turkey.
  13. That is what you have to watch, dogs that can not hold fallow down, getting dragged threw barbed wire fences ec t!!!!! Can get nasty !!!
  14. Back in the early 90's, i had a 23'' whippet x greyhound collie that took fallow regular. He was fine with doe and young ones but could not manage the big bucks!
