    well done lads, my kind of sport. only seen numbers like that a couple of times. they were both on chicken farms, the best we had was 15oo with 12 plummers and a pattey. nothing like it for making grown men act like looneys.

    cheers guys, they get run on mostly routh ground foresterj, my half cross has rock hard feet and her pup seems to have followed her. the mom is great in woodland, and im happy that the pup who is a lot faster than her uses her brain when in the woods. mind you she has a long way to go to put stuff in the bag like her mom does.

    philluk is spot on with what he is saying, you said she has the basic sit and stay, thats a good start. i wouldnt let her out of a controled area untill i could sit her walk a hundred yards wait ten min then call her. blow the stop whistle. let her wait five min and call her again. i know its boring. bur take your time make sure she is 100% before moving on to the next stage, and you will eventually have a dog to be proud of.

    thanks for the advise guys , i will be following up on it. i paid £800 for mine air gun ant that was with paddel ancor system and rod holders. but if you go on ebay there are some bargins out there.

    after watching sea fishing kiyaks on utube i went and got myself an oceon kiyak trident 13. i havent been out on it yet as im getting all my saftey gear before i do. do any of you folkes use them?. any advice would be greatfully recieved. i have had a lot of experiance white water canoing, but havent been on the sea.

    ive had cockers forabout15 years now and the one thing i would never use is a shock coller what philluk posted is spot on. take her back to the begining and when she is 100% on her stop and recall, i would take her in a rabbit pen were you can work her in a controled inviroment. if you dont know anyone with one just go on the net most profesional trainers have one, and they will usualy let you use them for a small fee. ive used this method on a lot of springers and cockers. it has allways worked for me.

    a nice looking pup. i noticed the long tail . i have a springer bitch the same she used to make a mess of her tail when bushing hard. i was told to get some cut and heal spray, from any horse shop. i did this and now if it starts to bleed i spray her tail and no more blood .its cracking stuff.

    hi all, my names paul im into most country sports. mainly ratting and lamping though. i own three plummers two collie cross lurchers, a lab, a springer and three cockers. allso got a few ferrets. look forward to reading your posts and putting some of my own on.
