i have a russell x lakeland dog hes 9 with an undershot use to take stick about him off the boys i run with lol a lot of stick haha but that was years ago dog is still working and he never had a problem holding his quarry , one hole every time and i would breed him today if i had a bitch couple of my mates had bitches but they never went the distance nor did any of my own been trying for years to get a bitch for him just hope i still have him when i do as it would be a real shame not to get a pup off him.

cracking looking bitch digger , what age did u start working her at?

i have two german pointers my self had they where my first gun dogs and had the same problem, i got a place close to my house was a very narrow lane where my dog could not get past me or run round me and threw the dummy there until they came to my hand took a couple of days and i took each dog separate , as for working them on game i never started working them until i had them trained to the whistle hope that helps.
