  10. I think decoying on maize is actually very easy its your set up that might not be working if you use one decoy pattern and they dont work change it around! Another thing is that you should use a flapper and a whirlie!!! - I also think that if they come in 5s and 10s that is better as you can concentrate on them and not a big huge load which may offer confusion!.Any what decoy pattern were you using and how many decoys!   11. How much would you allow me to buy the decoys for? And nets?
  12. I have a pond or two to shoot on. I would like advice on trying to get ducks to come on to the pond as very few about 2 come on it max a night! I have made a duck hide/blind for myself and also I am feeding bread round the edges and trying to get hold of some chaff, barley and wheat! What else can I do to maximise my chances of a decent bag! Any advice would be greatly appreciated!!! Tom
  13. Bornagi do some excellent cartridges and Gamebore Mammoth steel are very good but I use Winchester 4s 32gram which are most effective hope this helps!
  14. You will not need a shotgun certificate, if your friend is with you and he currently holds a in date shotgun certificate! Tom

Hello, The Semi Auto is a great tool for vermin control and I personally feel it offers many benefits!-The benefits are in regards to hide safety as you can not breaking the barrels to insert cartridges in! Secondly recoil is reduced so always a bonus! Other benefits include can deal with heavier load cartridges, if a third for 3 shot auto is needed then it is good as duck shooting you might need that 3rd shot or pigeon shooting when a good number come in!-doesnt mean you will get it though!!! Over and under are still good as I have both and over and under are good for more profound side to th
