    Took my daughter for another session on the range yesterday. 13 out of 14 shots range the bell at 20 yds. Couldn't believe how annoyed she got for missing that odd one, I think everyone in the building got the blame at some point. Now she is insisting she is ready to chose a rifle for 'my collection' over which she can have first shooting dibs. I sense this shared hobby is about to get expensive. Also took inspiration from you Bigmac and bought her some of the targets you are using that show the shot up clearly for us to use in the garden - cheers mate

    He's definitely got talent. I took my 11yr old daughter to the range and she spent half an hour showing one of the range staff how easy it was to hit a 9mm bell target at 20 yds. I felt sorry for the guy as he had made it look quite difficult

    Single shot adapter for the hw100 is a cracking bit of kit. Pops out when you pull back the cocking level so easy for someone like me with sausage fingers.

    Here's one for the HW100. Incredibly accurate and very easy to get familiar with. My 11yr old daughter was 'out-shooting' the gun shop assistant on the bell target 20m range on only her second ever shooting trip. Bought mine after shooting half a dozen pellets through my brothers HW100KT and I couldn't be happier.

    Excellent choice sir! It took me three shots through my brothers HW100KT to jump in the car drive to my local RFD and buy a brand new HW100T. Everyone said I was mad not to try others and to buy so quickly but as soon as I shot the Weihrauch I knew it was what I wanted from a gun. 6months later and I have shot more than half a dozen other rifles and found nothing that I would rather shoot. Enjoy, enjoy and then enjoy some more

    I have just acquired a vulcan MK2 in .22 but it only has a Hawke 4x32 scope on it. I was wondering what advice you might have on a relatively inexpensive (less than £60) alternative with a bit more magnification.

    Full length is 4 inches longer overall (barrel is 410mm rather than 310mm on the karbine) Get your hands on both at your local RFD if they have them. I am pretty sure you will love one or the other.

    I own a hw100t and my brother owns an hw100 kt (carbine) so having shot both I can say the following - both are pretty much as accurate as each other. The full length has a slightly larger cylinder and therefore very slightly better shot count (10 shots or so). The carbine is easier to handle for hunting due to the reduced length but being 6ft4 the extra length of the 't' is no issue for me and I prefer the balance of the full length. To be honest my opinion is that it is a very personal thing as to which you prefer as there is little to choose between them as they are both more accurate than

    Thanks for the photos I nearly went and bought one of these this week but having seen your photos I think I might wait. Has anyone come across an adjustable butt plate that will fit an HW100T?

    How do you get on with a bipod on your springer? I cannot shoot on the bipod and then hand held with any accuracy, I have to re-zero between then. Apparently something to do with restricting the recoil of the rifle. I usually use a bean bag as it allows it to recoil a bit more naturally and also when I have scared everything away by being a bit to heavy footed at least I have something comfy to sit on while I wait for the blighters to come back Are you looking for something to fit to the barrel like the clip on ones or something to attach to the forend?

    Just come across this forum and as an air gunner was nice to see a broad mix of people who enjoy all aspects of hunting and country pursuits Looking forward to reading all the good advice and maybe sharing what I learn with anyone who is interested. Enjoy a bit of hft and ft and just got my first permission today so maybe I will have a few stories to tell over the coming months
