  2. for the sake of £25 a year or the risk(no matter how small) of losing ya dog to either parvo, distemper or some of the many other nasty's i know which i choose.. Made that mistake many years ago when i lost one of my best terriers after a big ratting session, dog died only 2 days after so not willing to make the same mistake twice,,
  3. well said rocks , i agree with not rehoming any dodgy dogs . if a dog fu*ks up once it might do it again and then there is another excuse and the wheel of excusses goes on and on until it's a kids face missing totally agree with both of you lads on this one.. why would any one wanna keep, train or breed from a dog that is not right in the head,,.. Get rid,, and i dont mean pass it on to some other poor person i mean PTS.

  9. Hi all. Just bred my 3/4beddi x 1/4whippet bitch last week, she stands at 19 and 3/4 inches and as keen as curry. The sire is a mates and he's 23 inches to the shoulder, And 3/4whippet x 1/4grey, i'm not sure about the grey side but know the whippet side is sooty sam and lynperry, any tips to give me as this will be my first lot of lurcher pups that i've bred my self.. all the best, bracken28 :thumbs-up:

And at 7 months he's still got a bit to go, and did you see his sire and dam..? you can you this has a ruff guide line to how he'll turn out , Has for foods white meats fad raw are prone to give dogs worms, so cooked is best. good luck with him any how. bracken28

Hi all,, i'm new to this site but not to the sport, A few years back i was well into hare coursing and taking fox with the aid of my terriers and lurchers, But then i got a divorce, the x got the house, car and pretty much all the money in the bank so i had to pass on my trusty work mates when i moved into my flat.. To cut a long story short, i've just got some more land to hunt over and need a new lurcher, done a fair bit of ratting last winter and my little lakey bitch has come on a treat..   12. I got a ammo bag from an army surplus store, had it for 3 years now . its a canvas type bag with a real thick shoulder strap and my 17ah battery fits nice and snug inside, best thing it only cost a fiver..

  14. i got my self a beddy, shes only 13 months old at the mo but shaping up realy well. what ever breed he gets if its from proven parents and he puts the time into it his chances are a lot better for a good all rounder all the best to him though . regards bracken28

  16. Nice dog u got there mate, I got a bitch who looks just like him ,shes coming on realy well now. She only 13 months but well keen . Just had her first charlie this morning. though it wasnt planned still well chuffed with her..
