  2. I also am a beginner at lamping and wanted to get started by using a torch style lamp that goes on top of my scope, you know, nothing too expencive or too big. Just something to do the job. After many hours of searching the internet for the best deal on a gun lamp, finding one at my local RFD for a reasonable price (It was a Tracer GL2 and it was priced at a hard-to-beat £44) I decided that i didnt want to spent £44 on a lamp as my pockets arn't very deep. So i decided to check the good old fall-back, ebay, which turned up some good results and great bargains, but still out of my price ran

  5. Yeah i read that about OX springs on another forum. I heard Titan XS springs are pretty good. Thanks for the advise.
  6. Ive had a look on the net and my local RFD unfortunatly doesnt sell mainsprings whilst i was having a mooch on the web i found out i need an OX2 mainspring but i dont know where i could buy one and get it fitted as fitting it myself may prove difficult.
  7. Ive been wanting to upgrade the mainspring in my rifle for a while now, my current one is good, but it's quite old. My rilfe is a Norica Krono .177. Does anyone know where i can find a nice 11-12ft/lbs mainspring for my rifle on the cheap (prefferably arround buckinghamshire)? Any help would be much appreciated, thanks.

  10. I find cold better as the quarry are usually out to find food for the winter. Does get a bit nippy whilst you sitting still for a while though, nothing a jumper and a extra pair of gloves won't sort
  11. Good shooting lads, thats a damn lot of birds right there.
  12. I shoot Rabbit, Squirrel and pigeon and I eat them all where I can. If i can then I will give them to family members or friends for their tea.
