Hard to break dogs from deer once they have a taste. The fallow over here are becoming pests, they are breeding right on the coast to almost the desert.

Are they hunted a lot as well mate? Can they be legally taken with dogs over there?

Too many lads keep them banged up single from pups and dont get them out enough. When I kept bull crosses,Black terriers and even an apbt I could have them all mixing like that even with liþers of pups mixing with them.Couldn't be doing with dogs wanting to scrap with their kennel mates.Only time I had any bother was when my Mrs got 2 showey Russell/White lakey types.Even then it would usually be one of the cowardly c**ts bashing a pup for no reason.

I’d agree with that mate it’s down to poor kennel management and bad socialisation, you only get out what you put in type of thing

If any one is thinking about spending the daft money that they are wanting for a ped whippet at the min keep your money in your pocket if your looking for a good rabbit dog, they are out there and I got lucky owning one but I've wasted a lot of time and money looking for another, I'd say 80% of ped whippets are not as good on rabbits as a lurcher and the only first cross whippet lurcher that is any good is a whippet x greyhound.

Fair comment mate, all the whippets I’ve seen or owned could have done with a bit more size with the addition of greyhound, ped whippets are up for the work but are let down by there lack of physicality most of the time. They’re just lacking that bit extra unfortunately

I  don't encourage any of my terriers to go for rats after having to move tons of bales for a terrier digging for rat , as far as the video I wouldn't at that age even a nip that young and the dog could go backwards for ever...I'm usually stock breaking at that age and know how a little fear at that age stops them worrying stock for life

Exactly, more important things like manners and stock breaking to think about at that age not entering

Very very happy with her mate. She is a demon ratter very good at ferreting and a decent busher. She has got a fantastic temperament and endless energy ... I couldn’t be happier with her mate.

Got any good pics you could put up of her Ken?
