    If it's factory ammo you are after try the Norma 58gr V-Max Hornady, they stop foxes well. I used to use 80gr bergers in my 1:10 twist but now it's a 1:8 I will opt for 105A-Max, but I home load. The problem is that a lot of people will have different opinions which could and sometimes does lead to even more confusion. Regards 243ACK

    I had a trip out to a friends place the other evening for a stalk. What a great trip it was, we got to the ground, made ourselves ready and set off in search of a buck. Almost immediately two bucks were spotted and I made my way toward them. The stalk was silent and we got to approx 100yds and I selected to buck to shoot. The shot was bang on the money and the buck fell after taking a few steps. Absolutely great trip and well worth the drive!

    I'm not sure what it's like in other counties but in Warwickshire I have never filled a form in for a variation. I simply send my letter in with my FAC saying I've sold "Rifle A" and request a one for one so I can buy "Rifle B" My last variation/one for one took 20 minutes as I hand delivered my letter and FAC and it was done while I waited. Also conditioned it for 'Deer and other legal quarry' rather than Deer & Fox etc.

    I was looking at the one at the bottom, never even noticed the one at the top. The one at the top is a white tail, definately! The bottom - Sika but I have to admit, I wasn't 100% sure. I feel such a fool..........lol

    Pick one up without the action/barrel in and it is real easy to twist it, they are shite, in my opinion! The T3 synthetic stock I have no experience of so can't really comment but the SPS one's are shocking. I gave mine away to a lad on Stalking Directory, I even paid the postage.....lol
