    This may help abit more if the photo worked lol. The red dot is the beach I start on and the blue dot is an elevated ledge to fish the high tide. The water comes right into the red dot on high ( why I get up on thw ledge) but the ledge has restrictions with casting. The rocky weedy section you can see is mainly weed but with a some rocks in none of which are that big that I cant turn them looking for peelers. The black arrow is the way the tide floods. When at high the red dot is only about a foot deep and its pretty level out to the gully where the boats are. Sorry to be a pain just chec

    My weight clips have a small bait hook. Ill try and get it uptide of the rocks, think thats about 300 yards lol

    I wasnt arguing it just making sure it was right for small rocks aswell. Didnt explain it very well ( me that is) . The rocks normally take a few hours to cover, will they still be the worth fishingwhen its cominf in strong and quickly?

    The rocks are ver low tbh tiercel, only a foot tops height wise. More loose rocks and weed

    Have found a nice mark on the tamar that I know holds bass as I had one last week but wanted to up my catch rate if possible. Now for the question. The mark has a rocky outcrop to one side that when the tides out is compketely visible so iknow it holds crab, mussels and clams and the other side is mud banks. Now am I better of near the rocks or on the mud?

    How would i know how old you are,i knew you was young i just didnt know how young.....it wasnt a trick question !........Having a thirst for knowledge means you pay attention i dont need to ask many questions i cant get an answer to on a forum of this size......if i need to i dont have any problems in asking questions when i dont know something as many of the chaps on here who have answered questions for me know......unlike some people who just try to front things out when they dont really know Anyway.....ive never claimed to be a grown up but i think even ive got a little bit tired of y

    That was written when I was 18 about a night out when I was 14. For many years I was lamping 3/4 nights a week and lamping all night. Thats 24-32 hours experience a week which I know people who wouldnt do that in a year so personally I think ive done enough lamping to string together a few sentences about it

    We had seen three days of storm weather but due to my dad's work commitments and my exams at school we had been unable to get out. However tonight we could so it was home from school and batteries on charge. We did all our usual checks prior to going out; connections, bulbs, first aid kit etc. Once we had completed all the checks we rung the farmer and loaded up the truck, normally we drive the fields and let the dogs straight out the back but due to the recent conditions this wasn't an option.     My father and his friend that taught me long before I was 17 have a combined hunting experience of over 70 years. I still dont drive now socks but have covered alot of ground and hunted most species of animal.

    Im 22 which you knew roughly anyway. I asked him a question why he was questioning him if he hunts, talking about you not to you. Surely if you had a thirst for knowledge on the subject you would ask questions? Noone on an Internet forum uses there mouth unless posting a video and the same with ears, your not using your ears reading a forum. I also have every right togive my opinion on anything posted on a public forum

    Mate, so what if the man doesn't hunt,fish etc......I don't run dogs, dig foxes but there is some interesting stuff put up. I think I'm right in saying he keeps a few birds etc and posts in that section and posts in the GENERAL section.......that's the GENERAL section.... as I said why join a hunting forum then? I dont fly model airoplanes (think theyre interesting) so am not on a forum specialised in them just to go on the general conversation part of the forum
