  1. Big difference; I wouldn't want a dog that I'd have to select runs on and down here if you picked runs or quarry you wouldn't get many
  2. How many types can you take ferreting, have round the terriers and then go run these big boys?
  3. I said at the start based on what you said she is 11/16 saluki 3/8 mum becomes 3/16 plus the 8/16th from the dad ... I'm not sure if you're taking he piss or not now 1/4 is 4/16ths So 15/16ths are taken leaving 1/16 to be 'lurcher'
  4. Again depends on the land and quarry. I said 11/16 saluki and 4/16 grey ... you then said the dam was 2/3 saluki and 1/3 grey; when put to a pure saluki they'd be 5/6 saluki
  5. Again it depends on the land and the quarry So put to a pure saluki would make the pups 5/6 saluki ... as stiff said nearly pure saluki Again depends on the land and quarry
  6. That makes them 11/16 saluki and 4/16 greyhound ... not nearly full ?
  7. How many people want a probably 5/8 saluki 3/8 grey ? It's a breeding of limited use on limited terrain; a very specialist dog suited to a small number of people which is the point I believe stiff was making
  8. Bacon and cheese wrappedGarlic chicken, butter tenderstem and salt n pepper wedges. Found some puffball at the school; completely tasteless with a texture like pancake or marshmallow so the baby had em with sugar and caramel
  9. You can keep 1 or 2 a day most months of the year ... have a look at Chris sullivan on YouTube mate. Good Irish match angler that's had bass, gilts, Ray and smuts off the beaches
  10. Have a crack mate or use the centuries for a bit of bassing
  11. Thousands of the shitty little ones like the video down here; they're a bustard nuisance
  12. Made sure I left his phone number off and pics of his street, misses and kid
  13. Like I said mate make sure they take any help offered mate; the man thinks he has to be strong for the wife but he has to grieve aswell mate
  14. Fished Kilve for ray and smuts but never been in the pub. Shame the channel only produces small eels Fair play to that man
  15. Best thing the misses has ever made; cornflake tart but with a blondie as the crust
  16. Saw this a few years ago and have been doing it ever since ... saves so much time.
  17. Condolences to them mate, its the lowest place ive ever been and i hope your nephew and partner take advantage of any help theyre offered because talking really does help. time does help but will never heal. Biggest thing for me is with there job it's not a case of having to buy more sand, replace a door or get a new light fixture (like it would be for most peoples fuxk ups at work) it is people's lives that are lost and I would say they should be more accountable but I also know its not done with malice and they're only human.
  18. Yeah I've got one for lobster and edibles, similar to a gaff but with no point
  19. Completely agree with that and had a few experiences myself that stood out and possibly shouldn't have happened. When my eldest was born my then misses ruptured her uterus and had to have an emergency op, they left me ( an 19yr old first time dad) with the baby for several hours without anyone checking in at all. I didn't have a fuxking clue what was going on with her or baby. On the second pregnancy we went in for baby to be monitored due to reduce movements (4th day in a row); they connected a fetal ecg and told her to press the button every time the baby moved. They kept coming in
  20. Saw this posted on a group on fb; was going to pop it in the fishing section but thought a few others may like it because of the use of dogs. It's a good little YouTube channel and has a.video of Slapton/torcross and seine netting on chesil aswell
